In our restaurant Alte Münze, you can enjoy culinary delicacies made from fresh, regional, and seasonal ingredients. The specialty of our slow food restaurant is the upscale, traditional Harz cuisine, interpreted in a modern way. The ingredients are sourced from regional organic farmers, hunters, and beekeepers, among others. All animal products such as meat from Harzer Höhenvieh cattle or Galloway beef are sourced from the region, depending on availability. For us, sustainable culinary indulgence is our top priority.
The excellent cuisine in our Alte Münze restaurant is rounded off by the historic ambience and our warm service, providing an enjoyable experience. You can end the evening at our cocktail bar Bar Anno 1644.

The bar "ANNO 1644", located in the outskirts of the "Alte Münze", is considered a small insider tip in Goslar with its beautiful inner courtyard. The small, rustic bar with its cozy atmosphere will inspire you. Here you will find a nice selection of spirits and refreshing cocktails. Enjoy the end of the day in a historic place, where 400 years ago coachmen and dispatch riders stopped for a few relaxing hours. The inner courtyard is open Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm to 10 pm during the summer months.

Enjoying consciously is a continuously present concept for us. Therefore, the focus is on regionality when it comes to the ingredients for our Slow Food restaurant. Whether vegetables, fish, or meat – our food comes from the Harz region, and we know many of our suppliers personally. We work together with them to constantly expand our range of fresh and sustainably produced goods. In this way, only the best ingredients find their way into our kitchen and with short delivery routes. Good for the taste and good for the environment.
